Lead Service Technician
About the Role
This isn't a helper position — you'll be running jobs independently from day one. You'll manage your own schedule, show up at customers' homes, assess the work, and get it done right. We need someone who can represent the Legacy Home Advantage brand like it's their own.
What You’ll Do
- Perform home maintenance services including dryer vent cleaning, water heater flushes, HVAC filter replacements, smoke detector maintenance, and more
- Manage your daily route and schedule of 5–8 service appointments
- Communicate directly with homeowners — explain what you're doing, answer questions, and leave them confident the job was done right
- Document each job with before/after photos
- Identify additional services that could benefit the homeowner
- Help grow the business during slower periods — neighborhood outreach, follow-ups, and building referral relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in home maintenance, field service, property maintenance, or a related trade
- Reliable vehicle (truck or SUV preferred) and your own basic tools
- Ability to work independently — assess problems, make decisions, and execute without constant supervision
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills with homeowners
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physically able to work on ladders, in crawl spaces, and in varying weather conditions
- Trade licenses (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) are a plus and open up additional earning opportunities
Compensation
- $25/hour guaranteed — W2 employee, paid weekly, 40 hours/week
- Performance bonuses paid monthly based on job volume, customer satisfaction, and subscription conversions
- Realistic year-one earnings: $62,000–$72,000+ with base pay and bonuses combined
- Bonus for every 5-star Google review that mentions you by name
- 90-day review with potential raise based on performance
Your Growth Path
Solo Technician
Months 1–3: Run your own route, prove your quality and reliability
Crew Lead
Months 4–6: Get an assistant, run a two-person crew, increase output
Senior Tech
Months 6–12: $30/hr, managing crew performance and training
Operations Manager
Year 2+: $40–$50/hr managing multiple trucks and growing the business
